We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy An active in-state pharmacy technician license is required to be considered.
#Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
Transition orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes
Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
Aid the pharmacy manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas
Package medications for dispensing and for delivery
Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hours
During Peak/high demand, shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 8-10 hours)
Manual dexterity of hands and wrists
Active unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment
~ National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
~ High school diploma or equivalent
~6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools
~ Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels.
Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
