We are actively looking for a Electrical HW Engineer who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the energy sector.

You will be tasked to design low and medium voltage electrical systems/cabinets in accordance with UL/IEC standards and to define the related equipment. In addition, you will perform the design of the automation hardware systems.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform the design of electrical equipment that is part of the scope of supply.
• Define the technical characteristics of the necessary components and equipment based on UL, IEC standards and company standards, and perform electrical studies on existing or planned electricity grids.
• Define necessary automation hardware and perform installation engineering development in its different levels of detail, monitoring and guaranteeing compliance with the deadlines indicated by the Project Manager, coordinating with the various bodies involved.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or electric/electronic expert.
• Fluent in Italian and/or fluent in English.
• Highly skilled in design, review, or modification of wiring diagrams of power cabinets and protections in accordance with UL/IEC standards .
• Skilled in Eplan software is a must.
• Write technical specifications and functional descriptions.
• At least 5 years of experience in the design of electric power cabinets is necessary.
