Activities

  • Ensure the QC, analysis and integration of all wells and geological, geophysical and reservoir data.
  • Perform seismic interpretation and analysis, and follow-up seismic acquisition, processing a/o reprocessing.
  • Carry out and guarantee the coherence and the synthesis of the static data.
  • Build and improve static model, contribute to the evaluation of In Place volumes and associated uncertainties, work in close collaboration with reservoir engineer to ensure dynamic model calibration, participate to the dynamic synthesis, Field Development, Reservoir Management Plan and Reserves exercise.
  • Propose, prepare and follow up of the wells (design, acquisition, etc..) in close collaboration with the related other disciplines (Reservoir, Head of Operations Geology and Petrophysics, Drilling, Completion...)
  • Ensure compliance with costs, deadlines and objectives.
  • Contribute to the data acquisition program and specialist studies necessary to better characterize and forecast the behavior of the reservoir identifying opportunities to test new technologies.
  • Contribute a/o recommend studies, propose experts' contributions, ensure their follow-up and guarantee their results.
  • Ensure the link with the operational entities (Drilling & Completion, Well Production and Performance) of the subsidiary.
  • Represent Geology and Geophysics discipline in Internal (KOM, SOR, REVGIS, etc...) and Partners meetings, presenting the results of any studies of the disciplines.
  • Ensure the tutoring and companionship of junior geoscientists.
  • Promote new geosciences techniques.
  • Contribute to the realization of environmental impact files.
  • Contribute to and guarantee all technical deliveries are in line with the TotalEnergies EP procedures.
  • Contribute to the durability of the acquired information (memos / reports, data management of the study bases).

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Petroleum Geology or Geosciences Engineering, PhD preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including several years in geo-modeling (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of Petrel, Sismage, Gravitas, Intersect, Tmore, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Technical skills: seismic interpretation, well calibration, petrophysics, static modeling, reservoir engineering, dynamic simulation, uncertainty analysis, data management.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, multitasking ability, teamwork, and effective communication.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.
