Advancing Quantum Technologies in Cybersecurity and Communication
The company, based in Padua, Italy, specializes in cutting-edge cybersecurity and communication systems leveraging quantum technologies. We develop and manufacture Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems and Quantum Random Numbers Generation (QRNG) devices for various industries, including ICT and TLC, in both Ground and Space domains.
Our company is actively engaged in national and international projects, collaborating with organizations such as the European Space Agency and the European Commission. Our work contributes to enhancing information security on a global scale, addressing the growing challenges of data protection in an interconnected world.
We are seeking a talented Quantum Scientist to join our team in Padua. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to design, implement, test and deploy novel quantum communication solutions and will participate in Research& Innovation projects in which Think Quantum is currently involved, including the integration of Post-Quantum solutions in QKD devices. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with our team of engineers, scientists, and communication experts.
Master's degree or Ph D in Physics, Engineering or related STEM field
Strong knowledge of Quantum Physics and Quantum Information
Solid programming skills in C++, Python, and version control systems
Hands-on experience with optical laboratory equipment and measurement techniques
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography
Laboratory documentation and experimental procedure development
Flexible working environment with up to 20% remote work option
