For Paul Wurth Italia spa, company of SMS Group we are looking for an Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) Engineer for a fixed term contract of 12 monthsResponsibilitiesEIC prescriptions identification for specific projects (Inquiry, General Specification, Contractual Technical Specification, International and National Standard) for technical Offer and Project execution
Electrical Basic Design and Plant Engineering activities (Load List and power balance, Single Line Diagrams, Protection definition, Transformer sizing, Emergency Load List and Generator sizing, Power Factor Compensation sizing, MCC Typicals, power cable sizing, electrical building definition, electrical equipment location, main cable routing definition and sizing, Earthing, Lightning, Lighting etc.).
Project's needs understanding and definition of the most suitable solution based on a cost/benefit analysis.
Procurement Electrical equipment (MV Switchgear, power transformer, LV Switchgear and MCC, VFD and SS panels, DG set, UPS, Motor and accessories, etc.) from purchase specifications preparation, technical alignment up to Order placement, follow-up for electrical equipment and engineering activities, Factory assessment Test.QualificationsTechnical degree or diploma on Electrical Engineering
Good education, skills on electrical distribution design and calculation (starting from Medium Voltage) and plant engineering, International Standard (IEC, EN..)Required SkillsBase skills on EIC discipline in general (P&ID and PFD diagrams, Instrumentation, Control systems, Risk Analysis and Safety documentation, Auxiliary and Communications systems)
Attitude/Skills to other company's department interaction (technological departments, project management, purchase department, Sales department, erection department, etc.)
Attitude and social Skills (communications and interaction with internal structure, customer/consultant at all stages of the project) with problem solving approach.
English fluent in written and spoken
Skills in office tools (excel calculation sheet in particular) and base skill on Autocad
Attitude to learning and using professional company professional tools (AVEVA Engineering, SAP..)
Availability to travel at a client's office, Vendor workshop and office or at construction site
