The selected candidate will deploy highly specialized know-how, work with top experts in the field of e-mobility and have significant opportunities for professional growth and career evolution in a challenging environment. RESPONSABILITIES: The Hydrogen Infrastructure Lead Engineer will work as part of the Hydrogen Ecosystem development team, with the main goal of ensuring deployment of hydrogen refueling infrastructure solutions for hydrogen vehicles in the company portfolio. The core assignments could be grouped in two areas, to be prioritized depending on the candidate’s profile: Infrastructure Roll-Out: vehicle to infrastructure requirements; and vice versa; in alignment with all relevant functions, particularly with vehicle chief engineering and Hydrogen storage engineering; and ensure their implementation in the commercial roll out of Hydrogen Refueling Stations. with cross-functional teams including Platform, Sales, Engineering, Business Development, Customer Service in supporting customer requirements related to H2 refuelling and infrastructure. the technical reference for customers and partners, providing guidance and support on H2 refuelling and infrastructure matters. the business development teams in the definition of the Hydrogen Infrastructure requirements, with regard to technology and capacity, for supporting the roll-out of Hydrogen vehicles. collaborations with suppliers and providers in order to track/acknowledge technical evolution roadmaps (incl. standards evolution) of H2 refuelling technology and assess vehicle’s requirements evolution to cope with it. Iveco at standards development organizations and lead technical contribution to refuelling and infrastructure related codes and standards and regulations. Hydrogen refilling knowledge within the organization, including awareness on regulations and safety implication. Infrastructure for Iveco sites: the technical reference for defining H2 infrastructure needs for Iveco sites, in alignment with the different plants and business units. the definition and specification of requirements for the necessary equipment to be installed at Iveco sites for Hydrogen commissioning and refuelling activities. consistency and standardization of technology solutions within Iveco, and define preferred suppliers and partnerships for the execution of such projects. with the local stakeholders from a technical standpoint design, installation, commissioning of internally-based Hydrogen refuelling infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations. from a technical standpoint troubleshooting of eventual issues related to Hydrogen refuelling infrastructure operations, minimizing down-time. and track permission submission and approval process for H2 infrastructure installation and operations, taking into account Hydrogen safety implications in close relation with HSE responsibles. REQUIRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND: Master's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Energetic, Aerospace, Chemical engineering or related-fields. Proven working experience in Hydrogen Infrastructure planning and roll-out. Alternatively, proven working experience of Hydrogen Refuelling Station design and/or building and/or commissioning. Excellent knowledge of Hydrogen safety implications, in particular related to Hydrogen refuelling stations operations. Knowledge of regulatory framework and standardization across European market for Hydrogen infrastructure; and of Hydrogen refuelling technologies. Knowledge on the regulatory framework for the installation and permitting of Hydrogen commissioning and refuelling equipment in Germany and/or France and/or Italy and/or Benelux Safety mindset and principal knowledge of system safety and functional safety (ISO 26262, IEC 61508). Ability to cope with uncertainties and dynamically evolving organisations. Willingness to travel for building strong supplier and internal relationships. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
