Volpiano TO, Italia Sadhu A tempo pieno

About the job For a multinational group, we are seeking an ESG EMEA Manager to advance the company's global sustainability and ESG strategy across the EMEA region. This role is central to reducing the company's environmental impact, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and translating corporate ESG commitments into measurable, scalable actions. The position combines strategic leadership, technical ESG expertise, and hands‐on execution in a fast‐paced international environment. About the role As ESG EMEA Manager, you will monitor, forecast, and deploy initiatives that support the company's decarbonization and broader sustainability agenda. You will partner with regional business leaders, corporate functions, suppliers, and external vendors to operationalize ESG across the company's footprint—turning strategy into measurable outcomes. The role requires a balance of strategic perspective, technical proficiency in ESG frameworks and reporting, and strong stakeholder management to drive cross‐functional implementation. Key Responsibilities Sustainability Program Management & Reporting Oversee development, monitoring, and reporting of the company's environmental and sustainability programs with a focus on European initiatives. Manage the annual carbon emissions reporting process: coordinate local teams, validate data, perform analysis, and develop reduction recommendations. Own and drive the company's global decarbonization strategy across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Maintain and update emissions forecasting models and provide annual progress updates to senior management, including cost implications and deployment priorities. Support additional environmental programs such as water stewardship, product environmental footprinting, circularity initiatives, and plastic reduction efforts. Strategy, Operationalization & Cross‐Functional Leadership Develop and execute ESG roadmaps that integrate sustainability into regional business planning. Build and maintain relationships with leadership across business units and the global network. Lead cross‐functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, and IT to embed ESG into core processes. Partner with regional and functional leaders to ensure local action plans and KPIs align with global ESG targets. Collate quarterly progress updates and present insights to senior management. Serve as subject matter expert and primary contact for global ESG data capture processes. Support internal teams to meet reporting timelines and data quality standards. Regulatory Compliance, Methodology & Disclosure Support global ESG reporting and disclosures, ensuring compliance with EU regulations such as CSRD, SFDR, and the EU Taxonomy. Demonstrate technical proficiency in leading ESG frameworks including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and ISSB. Maintain ESG methodologies, assumptions, and documentation, managing change control across reporting cycles. Provide content and insights for the company's annual ESG Report and other global communications. Tools & Vendor Management Manage relationships with external vendors supporting ESG data collection, carbon accounting, and reporting systems. Support continuous improvement of ESG data systems, processes, and internal controls. Your Profile Education Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Experience Minimum 5+ years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability, or corporate responsibility. Experience in a corporate or consulting environment strongly preferred. Proven track record operationalizing sustainability programs across complex, global organizations. Advanced data analysis skills and experience building or maintaining long‐term forecasting models are strongly preferred. Key Skills Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, policies, and regulatory landscapes. Advanced analytical and modeling skills, including long‐term scenario and forecasting analysis. Ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization without direct authority. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders. Strong project management capabilities: prioritization, execution, and deadline management. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with ESG reporting or data management platforms preferred. Core Competencies Ability to align ESG goals with broader business objectives. Lead by example and share knowledge to upskill colleagues. Strong relationship‐building skills and ability to influence at multiple management levels. Comfortable working independently in a global, matrixed environment. Commercial acumen and understanding of competing business priorities. Passion for sustainability and delivering measurable environmental impact. Language Requirements Professional fluency in English required. Additional European languages (e.G., Italian, French, German, Spanish) are a strong advantage. What we offer A career opportunity to be part of a transformational team driving deep change with the ambition to make a positive environmental impact. A dynamic, purpose‐driven environment focused on sustainability and innovation. A central role in accelerating the company's ESG journey, with visibility, resources, and autonomy to deliver measurable results. A culture that values bold thinking, ownership, and meaningful contribution. Career growth opportunities within an international group. An interesting and competitive salary package.
