Data Center Manager, Data Center Operations AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. About The Role As a Data Center Manager in ADSIPL, you will get to manage the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure in India. We encounter interesting, challenging & complex problems every day, being a technical manager in ADSIPL means that you can innovate to solve these issues and help drive Operations Excellence in all areas of your role. Key Responsibilities Managing and developing teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise and ensuring highest levels of performance. Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centers. Helping build and bring online new Data Centers. Constantly improving all our processes and procedures. Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors. Liaising with internal teams & management groups. Ensuring we adhere to and exceed local Health & Safety standards in all our Data Centers. Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of our Data Centers and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes. Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, etc. Desired Qualifications Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. 4 years of data center engineering or operations experience. 3 years of managing IT technical teams with significant personnel management experience and examples of developing engineers and building successful teams. Proven management of a team of at least 5 individuals over at least 3 years. Experience with Incident, Change, Fault management and leverages Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma principles. Knowledge of Health & Safety and ability to positively influence safety culture. Strong vendor management experience with external vendors, contractors and security companies. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent STEM field. 1 years of Agile methods and processes experience. Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts. Experience implementing change management successfully transitioning programs into large-scale operations.
