We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join a global tech company. The professional will manage, monitor, and enhance enterprise SQL and MySQL Server infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft platforms, with some exposure to Oracle and optional MongoDB/Qdrant.
The ideal candidate is proactive, autonomous, and capable of handling complex database environments while collaborating effectively with global IT teams.

Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure (2012–2022).
Manage and maintain MySQL Server infrastructure (5.Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Linux server environments.
Contribute to IT strategy, architecture, and technical solutions across the organisation.
Ensure database performance, tuning, backup/restore, security, and compliance.
Support reporting and analytics solutions (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI).
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for IT infrastructure and processes.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Oracle DBA in multinational environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL architecture and management.
Basic experience with Oracle databases; Expertise in database tuning, troubleshooting, performance analysis, backup/restore, and DDL/DML.
Familiarity with Windows Server (2012–2022), Linux (RHEL), Azure SQL, VMware, and cloud solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Italian.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Exposure to IT risk management and information security best practices.
Previous experience as an external consultant or contractor.
