We atSiemens DISW develop sophisticated software tools that span the full breadth ofsemiconductor and electrical systems solutions, including integrated circuitdesign and verification, PCB design and manufacturing solutions, cable harnesstools, and embedded software.

As an Associate Application Engineer m/f/d , you will be involved in a structured Associate ApplicationEngineer Training Program. This is a fast-track paid training program thatchallenges you to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technicalproblems.

Associate Application Engineers are members of a teamof highly motivated individuals working with customers crafting the mostsophisticated hardware and software systems in the world and whose applicationsspan the electronics industry. This training program will give you outstandinginsight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations.Upon successful completion of this 12-month training program, you will beeligible to advance into one of these organizations.

Requirements:

Bachelor or master's degree in Electrical or ComputerEngineering, with semiconductor emphasis. Good English level Self-motivated and results-oriented with strongproblem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and written communicationskills. Must have some experience in these specific areas:UNIX, Linux, Sun Solaris. Course work and project experience in VLSI design. Some travel may be required.

Preferred Experience:

·Any first experience in the area IC design, analog ordigital: Simulation, Place and Route/ Full Custom, Functional and Physicalverification, Design for Test.

·Languages - Verilog (Behavioral, RTL, gate level),VHDL (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), TCL, Perl, C/C+

Job location is in EMEA, preferably in Italy, Germany, France, UK, Israel - we have 6 openings in total.
