Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a talented system engineer (TL), expected to coordinate and lead activities within Services Engineering organization.

In this role you have to support the Turbine Module Integration Leader of a legacy program.


In this role you have to coordinate and execute tasks relevant to turbine modules inside the Services Engineering Product Line.


The position is requiring leadership into investigation for field issues with direct collaboration with product line, product support engineering, overhaul shops and global supply chain organizations.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Execute engineering milestones within post certification production processes
  • Interface with hardware owner groups to provide inputs and guidance on field problems and to assess change in design at system level
  • Support Design Reviews (DRs) and Program Control Board (PCB). Lead System Design Reviews
  • Lead Change in Design process (Class 1 and Class 2)
  • Lead field investigation and root cause analysis adopting TOPS8D methodology when required
  • Report to leadership on execution of engineering and program milestones
  • Support activities to achieve performance, manufacturability, cost and part durability targets
  • Be in charge of Work Packages Cost Performance Index and Schedule Performance Index

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Aeronautical or mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university or college
  • Significant experience in engineering department
  • Knowledge of Aeronautics qualification and certification processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Turbine modules and components
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge in failure analysis
  • Provide technical guidance on a system perspective to the design team, considering critical path to customer deliverables and program risks
  • Ownership and flowdown of System requirements
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
  • Travel availability required

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of aeronautical Certification rules, ie EASA Part 21 and Part 14
  • Willingness to directly interact with several internal and external customers: hold meetings, lead activities focusing on targets. Being a facilitator within all the projects involved stakeholders.
  • Ability to sort through information and make timely and sound decisions
  • Able to prioritize work, and communicate openly in stressful situations
