Job Description

We are looking for a Firmware/Software (FW/SW) Engineer who will join the SW team to support the Hybrid & Electric systems developments, reporting directly to the H&E SW Manager.

This position is located in Corbetta/Bologna.

As Hybrid & Electric SW/FW Engineer, YOU WILL:
Perform System Requirements Identification, Analysis, Discussion, and Engineering.

Develop and maintain Motorsport SW Architecture for customer API distribution.


Define and develop FW/SW for several onboard applications as well as helping to define the future evolution of software and related lifecycle design.

Analyze and evaluate results proposing actions to improve the solutions or corrective actions in case of unconformity.

Provide complete and accurate reports about advancing state and main problems.

Evolve unit test and methodologies.

Qualifications

Technical high school diploma in one of the following disciplines:

Electronic/Computer Engineering.

Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, VxWorks), Linux and Linux-RT, Automotive SW architecture.

Knowledge of communication interfaces:
CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, PCI, SPI, UART, USB.

Knowledge of Data & Protocols standard (A2L), XCP (extended calibration protocol), UDS, etc.

Other skills that we would welcome

Experience in FW and SW developments (at least 3 years' experience).

Availability for business trips.

Knowledge of Matlab and Office.

Knowledge of laboratory hardware/software instruments (oscilloscope, signal generator, multimeter, etc.).

Knowledge of Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) toolchain, Azure DevOps.
