Located in Italy, SMS Group S.p.A. operates with over 500 dedicated employees spread across Tarcento (Udine), San Donato Milanese (Milan), and Genoa. The company specializes in developing cutting-edge, turn-key plants including hot and cold rolling mills, process lines, reheating furnaces, and more.
You Will Be Expected to:- Take the lead in coordinating and overseeing all construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Collaborate across functions, providing key information to various project stakeholders such as Project Managers, Supply Chain Managers, and Engineering Managers.
- Act as the primary contact for all construction-related matters during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards on-site and address any non-conformities promptly.
- Prepare and manage the construction work package thoroughly, guaranteeing legal and customer requirements are met.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Site Management within steel processing plant construction.
- Proficiency in site erection and commissioning activities, particularly in the steel industry.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong teamwork and flexibility skills.
- Availability to travel internationally.
- Excellent organizational abilities, a sense of accountability, and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Openness to new ideas and innovative approaches.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
