The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Management and control of the butcher's department profit and loss account, orders, and product waste
  • Management and supervision of butcher's department resources
  • Training of butcher trainees and continuous staff training
  • Organisation and supervision of meat counter set-up
  • Customer service at the counter, in both a butcher's shop and a restaurant
  • Organisation and cleanliness of working environments
  • Responsibility for food storage
  • Organisational and planning skills
