WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Formal qualifications and/or proven knowledge in the field of compliance or similar
  • Supply chain/procurement management experience
  • Social & Environmental auditing experience (preferred)
  • Ability to make well balanced decisions taking different business, people and ethical perspectives into consideration
  • Strong sense of integrity and high ethical standards
  • Good understanding of IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
  • Thorough understanding of third party legislative and regulatory systems across Ingka's global footprint
  • Extensive understanding of Ingka's third party risk and control frameworks, including IWAY standard
  • Comprehensive knowledge of thirdparty compliance review processes and ability to evaluate effectively
  • Passionate about creating an IKEA fit for the future with the customer at heart
  • Energized by contributing to overall success and results through collaboration and excellent knowledge and expertise
  • Inspired by working together in an everchanging multidimensional environment
  • Motivated by finding new ways through cocreation with colleagues and other Ingka units
  • Motivated by sharing and living the IKEA culture and values
  • Very Good knowledge of the Italian and English language (B2)
What you'll be doing day to day

  • Provide input to the annual compliance plan with local knowledge and information pertaining to third party Reviews to provide appropriate coverage.
  • Facilitate and perform third party reviews and initial assessments of identified vendors/suppliers to Ingka Group according to the annual compliance plan to verify compliance with Ingka standards, including IWAY.
Responsible for reporting of the results to key stakeholders and management so appropriate action can be taken.

  • Support the compliance review process for Ingka Group's own adherence to third party risk and control frameworks, including reporting of the results to key stakeholders and management to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct Riskbased followup on gaps/weaknesses identified within the reviews, including providing expertise on improvement opportunities to maximize positive impacts on our business along with the environment and society at large.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to group functions and countries on successful adherence to internal third party risk and control frameworks to allow for better understanding of the process within Ingka.
  • Support and implement standardized and automated ways of working with the aim to create efficiency and alignment throughout Ingka.
  • Lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mindset, raise risk awareness, and promote a risk culture, thereby supporting growth and maximization of business value.
  • Sharing of knowledge and best practices to contribute to continuous development
