Overview


The data scientist will develop models based on advanced analytics and solutions of intelligent exploitation of the data in the Credit department with the aim to make the credit value chain more efficient and quicker in 18 countries.


MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS:
Build machine learning and analytics models for acceptation, fraud or collection;
Propose and develop technical solutions to answer business analytical needs;
Define and implement strategies to maximize the turnover and profitability within the respect of the validated Risk Appetite Framework;
Identify useful data in IT system and monitor data quality with automated codes;
Challenge and enhance existing models;
Ensure models improvements;
Collaborate with business lines and ensure comprehension of delivered models and follow up of models performance and business lines usage;
Participate to the Data Science community of the shareholders;
Present the results to the stakeholders involved in the decisional process.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Master degree in Statistics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics or similar.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit models development, including the use of machine learning techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques (random forest, SVM, neural network, bagging, boosting, clustering, k-means, XGBM, Light GBM, etc.);
Knowledge and understanding of banking and credit environments.

IT TOOLS:
Good skills with at least two of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and R;
Expert user of statistical software like SAS and Microsoft Office.
