Role Purpose

  • The expert will have a main focus on tax compliance, tax accounting and reporting in full compliance with tax and statutory regulation.
    Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate filing of the corporate income tax returns, review assessments and manage tax payments/refunds in collaboration with tax consultants ;
  • Responsible for tax accounting processes, both internal and external reporting. This includes calculating and monitoring uncertain tax positions and deferred taxes as well as cash tax forecasting;
  • Prepare tax calculations;
  • Act as internal advisor for financial controllers relating to tax reporting matters and for the other stakeholders relating to tax advice;
  • Improve as active member the quality of tax reporting processes. Play a key role in tax technology matters and improve the usability of the consolidation and reporting system for tax reporting purposes;
  • Support the monthend closing, in accordance with the financial close schedules and the established guidelines, ensuring respect of deadlines and making appropriate corrections and adjustment as required;
  • Take initiatives and provide support or the Statutory manager on ad hoc tasks;
  • Support in the TP matters and assist and support in ad hoc tax & statutory projects coordinating external consultant

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or equivalent degree
  • Certified chartered accountant ("Dottore commercialista") is a plus
  • Master's degree in tax law plus
  • Experience between 35 years gained in large professional firms and/or tax departments of multinationals companies with focus on corporate tax
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multinational, matrix organization. Aptitude for teamwork, flexibility, good communication skills and result orientation will be considered a plus.
  • Languages: English & Italian are both mandatory
