As a Senior Account Executive, you will have the exciting opportunity to promote the usage and uptake of AWS cloud services to accelerate healthcare transformation across the Italy.

Your responsibility will be to increase market penetration of AWS services across our healthcare customer base.

The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level, and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and field sales reps.

You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Promote uptake of AWS services with healthcare customers across Italy
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Facilitate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust projects pipeline
  • Work closely with a wide matrix team (Italy and internationally) to develop and deliver compelling value propositions for your customer base
  • Work closely with external partners to extend reach & adoption
  • Travel, as necessary, to engage field teams and partners to execute initiatives.
A day in the life
There is no single 'day in the life' of a Senior Account Executive.

It is a dynamic market and you will cover a diverse customer base, which means you will be engaging with different stakeholders and organizations to solve a range of different problems on a daily basis.

AWS's healthcare mission across the globe is to enable access and delivery of person-centered healthcare, driving improved outcomes at a lower cost by accelerating the digitization and utilization of healthcare data.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Milan, MI, ITA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Significant experience within the Healthcare sector

  • Extensive experience providing technology solutions and managing Enterpriselevel Public Sector accounts
  • Proven experience with consistent sales territory growth and quota achivement
  • Fluent in Italian and English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's degree in a technical discipline and/or MBA or equivalent

  • Established professional network within the government and healthcare market
  • Experience dealing with the public healthcare system both at national and regional level
  • Ability to drive strategic technology discussions at multiple levels with partners and customers
  • Cloud sales experience
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead executive level meetings
  • Excellent writing skills. The ability to author original text including detailed sales forecasts and strategy planning documents
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and provide value in a healthcare setting
