Their services include Engineering, Commissioning & Qualification, IT compliance, Process&Quality, Advanced Therapies, and GxP training.

In order to strengthen the division, we are looking for a:

SCADA & PLC Developer - Pharma

Join our Life Sciences division, a group of approximately 400 consultants operating in Italy and around 3,000 in Europe within the Life Sciences sector across different regions. Our strength lies in integrating our expertise, allowing us to have a 360° view of the pharmaceutical world.

What Will Be Your Contribution at Akkodis?

Within our IT Compliance Business Unit, you will participate in a multinational project, providing support to design and develop SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling pharmaceutical production processes. You will work closely with the engineering and automation team, configuring and programming PLCs using Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) technologies. Additionally, you may need to integrate SCADA systems with other company systems (MES, ERP) for comprehensive and reliable data management. In addition to routine activities, you will be involved in:

  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • Fault diagnostics
  • Implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime

Profile

Do you have a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years of experience in developing and managing SCADA and PLC systems, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector? You will join the IT Compliance team of the Lifesciences division, working on various projects and experiencing different environments by traveling nationwide.

About You

Requirements to start your growth path:

  • Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience in developing and managing SCADA and PLC systems, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Advanced proficiency in Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens technologies (e.g., S7, TIA Portal)
  • Independence in introducing evolutionary improvements, bug corrections, and anomaly resolution after investigation
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken (at least B2 level)
  • Excellent level of Italian (at least C1 level)
  • Experience in testing phases before release in a production environment and participating in IQ/OQ and PQ qualification phases is a plus
  • Problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills
