Position Summary


You will provide sales expertise and account management leading all selling and commercial activities within existing markets for the Service Products in Europe of the Thermo Fisher Chemical Analysis Division (CAD).


You will maintain effective customer relations, develops opportunities mainly focus on the Product Service Agreement growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.


Focus and Responsibilities:

This role will be part of the Services Sales team for different CAD Business Units and Product Lines.


You will partner with Product Sales, Customer Service and Service Marketing to sell services in conjunction with new equipment sales, post-warranty conversions (warranty to contract, T&M to contract) as well as annual contract renewal process.


What you will do:

  • Achieve forecasted sales goals for territory, supporting other department and selling directly to customers;
  • Meet and exceed customer requirements including overall communication, responsiveness, cost awareness and scheduling sensitivities;
  • Available to travel overnight approximately 50% of time.


The performances will be measured on the total Services Products sales volume (contracts and spares), contract penetration growth, contract profitability.


Responsibilities:

Partners with Marketing to ensure effective product offerings and sales tools.

Partners closely with internal and external relevant functions on Service Sales issues and development.

Reports on relevant metrics and targets within management team on all appropriate occasions.

Education
Bachelor degree in commercial or technical field and/or at least 3 to 5 years of sales experience

Experience

  • 2+ years of sales experience, familiarity with or Service background preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, in commercial or technical field
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
  • Organizational skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proven commercial excellence working in matrix environment.
