As a Procurement Manager, you will provide expertise in the entire procurement process for all company purchases with a focus on spacecraft sub-systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our employer obtains quality products for competitive prices in a timely fashion. You will also play an integral role in ensuring the company sticks to budgets and operates profitably.

• Knowledge of supply management software, including inventory management, financial analysis, procurement, project management, enterprise resource planning, and general office programs
• Preferred specialized industry knowledge in aerospace, automotive, machining or electronics
• Proven experience within supply chain operations in a procurement role for 4 to 6 years
• Master's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, economics, applied science, or a related field

• Execute requisitions and purchasing orders for direct materials and services, including spacecraft subsystems, testing services, machined parts, composites, electronic boards, and components
• Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
• Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
• Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the company
• Identify and research potential new suppliers
• Research new products and services to meet the company's goals
• Support make or buy analyses
• Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
• Assess total costs of company purchases
• Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
• Develop and educate suppliers on the performance measurements and principles of continuous improvement
• Conduct audits at supplier sites
• Perform risk assessments on the company's supply chain
• Work with the legal department to ensure favorable contracts and terms
• Maintain relevant business partner and purchasing data inside the ERP system
• Generate procurement reports
• Oversee a team of purchasing agents
• Report to the Head of Procurement
