Junior Purchasing Officer

Ruolo

Responsibilities

Reviewing bids received from suppliers to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality and price
Scheduling deliveries of inventory to ensure that items are received on time
Coordinating with vendors to ensure that orders are delivered on time and within budget
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Job

requirements

Completed studies in Engineering and/or scientific based Master of Science.
Knowledge of basic economic concepts, interest for complex negotiation processes.
Preferred knowledge of purchasing tools and methods.
Preferred knowledge of raw materials technical and environmental data.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel

Communication skills:
fluent English communication; listening skills; synthesis skills; ability to deliver structured communication.
Have good analytical, troubleshooting skills.
A life-long learner and versatility, with an insatiable curiosity and desire for knowledge and learning.

Drive for discontinuity:
able to work on several activities in parallel.
Eager to work in a dynamic and growing organization with high and demanding targets

Temporary contract just for 1 year
