Bring your passion and become a game-changerR&D Hardware Engineer
Monte San Pietro (BO) We see your potential.

We are seeking for a Hardware Engineer able to autonomously design, develop and test electronic boards for complex optomechatronic devices such as Scanners, Sensors and Safety products.

You will follow projects from preliminary requirements to mass production, throughout the development stages.

You will join a team of 9 electrical engineers and a fast-growing R&D community that offers compelling opportunities of career development.

You will design subsystems and products together with optical, mechanical designers and Software engineers, using Siemens Mentor Expedition CAD and other tools available designed by standard integrated circuits, microcontroller, FPGA or DC/DC converter manufacturers

The main responsibilities are:

  • Inside the New Product Development process or for existing product maintenance purposes, Design part of system with medium/high complexity, in particular:
  • Design HW subsystems according to the technical specifications available, following specific guidelines and processes (selecting suitable commercial components and custom ICs, sizing their parameters properly, leveraging simulation tools, prototyping the circuits or using evaluation boards, etc.) and then measuring the behavior to refine the initial design.
  • Define a verification plan for HW subsystems, planning also the requirements related to FW or SW necessary to perform the test.
  • Verify the behavior of the designed subsystem against temperature, humidity, environmental stresses, etc.; verify EMC, following the specification and the product regulatory.
  • Consolidate collected data, verify the compliance with the specification and report the achieved results during the technical review.
  • Execute schematic entry using Company tools, and launch standard control tools; check the resulting Bill of Material. Manage the release of the HW according to the Company procedures.
