We are in search of a Financial Controller to become part of our global team. Your role will be pivotal in predicting, overseeing, and reporting expenses associated with diverse vessel operations in our Submarine sector. The main goal is to guarantee efficient financial management, assistance, and precise forecasting throughout the stages of planning, readiness, and implementation of installation projects. By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will contribute to achieving project revenues, controlling costs, and sustaining favorable margins in line with business requirements.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Act as the main contact in Finance for all matters concerning vessel expenses in the Submarine Division.
  • Take charge of individual installation project forecast documents (using Excel).
  • Develop and maintain vessel budgets, predict vessel operational expenses, and supervise actual costs.
  • Constantly refine and customize the project forecast documents to match the distinctive features of each project.
  • Perform variance analysis related to vessel operations and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Work closely with the broader Finance team and project stakeholders, offering spontaneous assignments and reports regarding installation operations.

What we are searching for:

Qualifications

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.

Previous Experience

  • 1-3 years of background in technical accounting.

Skills

  • Outstanding numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal aptitudes.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Readiness to acquire new knowledge and develop professionally.
