Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To prepare industrial feasibility during formula development: to anticipate and identify key points / bottlenecks during the development steps to underline them for scaleup. To cooperate with Industrialization and R&D Formulation teams to ensure success in development. To assist in the resolution of manufacturing issues as applicable.
- To define & run robustness tests to challenge formulas parameters & process to identify the limit of the formula
- To support, propose solutions & give guidelines to Industrialization & Production during 1st pilot batch and 1st industrial batch success, either on local site or other Chromavis / Fareva production sites.
- To prepare Robustness tests results report before Production
- To liaise with R&D Project Coordinator, R&D Manager, Industrialization, Production & Quality to prepare for 1st production and share technical inputs
- To liaise with Production to understand machine & vessels constraints and circle back with Formulation team to anticipate industrial feasibility.
- To participate to validation of 1st production batch and propose action plan in case of failure.
- In case of cross boarder industrialization, to assess the formula and link with local development lab to ensure tech transfer activity: run lab trials with local & homologated raw materials to be used in Production and validate equivalence of lab results before proceeding to robustness qualification.
Skills required
- Batchelor or master's degree in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical fields; different or a lower level of education will be evaluated according to a real and proven working experience in a similar role
- If graduated, at least 23 year of experience in cosmetic company; otherwise, 35 years of experience in the cosmetic field
- Knowledge of English at professional level
- IT knowledge: good knowledge of the Office package and IT tools expertise
- Good laboratory practices & GMP knowledge and of lab equipment
- Effective workload planning, respect of deadlines, ability to manage stress in a very dynamic environment, adaptability
- Result and customer oriented
- Attention to details
- Selfmotivation and great sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Personal ethics, tact and diplomacy
