In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development of cutting-edge Aseptic RLT automation systems using the latest technologies.Focussing on RLT Synthesis, you will support the OT scope of the Synthesis system used for automated lines being deployed and operated across the RLT Network.
The Automation Engineer Specialist is responsible for managing the automation scope and computer system validation for an automated manufacturing line & its synthesis system used in radioligand therapies.
Strong communication skills are required, as the RLT Line Automation Engineer will interact with the automated line vendor and ensure that timelines and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
About the RoleYour responsibilities will include:Act as a thought leader and influencer across teams in RLT, able to manage project teams and be a trusted partner for key stakeholdersProvide technical expertise for the design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of automation software and associated hardware; including interacting with other teams as necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the OT systems used on the automated manufacturing lines.
Strong Project management experience and ability to drive project teams to successful outcomes.Interact heavily with the Semi-Automated line vendor to ensure timely delivery, effective troubleshooting, and adherence to SLAs.
What you will bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience and managing teams in an IT or Automation, in a GMP Pharma environment.
Experience in leading project teams and proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
Strong leadership and decision making abilitiesStrong knowledge and understanding of automation systems, computer system validation, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Fluent in English. Italian a plus.Knowledge of radioligand therapy manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus
