Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Purchasing team in Belluno
  • Requesting quotations for products or services
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong network with key suppliers
  • Negotiating for direct materials codes and suppliers benchmarking
  • Negotiating commercial terms and supply agreements
  • Eauction
  • Acquiring new suppliers and codifying them (Mkdata)
  • Updating price lists
  • MIN management
  • Coordinating the Suzhou and Chihuahua plants and sourcing of materials
  • Materials analysis KPI (savings, DPO, regionalization, preferred suppliers, contract coverage) and suppliers performance measure
  • Meeting with suppliers
  • Sourcing of alternative elements / suppliers
  • BOM costing
  • NPI support for the R&D
  • COO update
  • Supporting the quality dept. for noncompliance advisory to suppliers and back charge
  • Audit depute for purchasing
  • Supporting logistic agreements
  • Host QBR with key partner(s)
  • International Trade Compliance Gate Keeper: supporting Business Unit ITC Leader to develop and implement trade compliance policies, and certifications necessary for the Procurement team to ensure compliance with applicable trade laws.

Our ideal colleague would bring:

  • Technical degree
  • Previous experience in similar role is required
  • Previous experience in the electronic field is preferred
  • Knowledge of purchasing contracts and legalities of global trade
  • Proven track record in lead time/cost reduction
  • Experience with contract negotiation
  • Good skills for Ms Office
  • PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Project, Excel
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation techniques
  • Selfmotivated, proactive & confident
  • Ethical high personal and professional standards
  • Business travel
