StellenbeschreibungItaldesign is looking for a vehicle passive safety performance engineer with passion for the automotive field and strong motivation in supporting the vehicle passive safety development process.

ResponsabilitiesSupporting several running projects during the development phase, from concept to industrial production, taking care of one of passive safety issues (Front, side, sensoric or pedestrian protection) and addressing themto the specific Team;Being the main interface of Italdesign in front of customer's departments, both internal and external to vehicle passive safety department;Coordinating functionnaly a team composed by simulation, testing and design driving it towards the reaching of passive safety targets;Reporting the status of the Passive Safety performance almost at every project Milestone and support the creation of the documentation for project release.

AnforderungsprofilKey requirements2 -5 years of experience in Passive Safety development;Good skills of team working and coordination;Basic knowledge of Technical drawing and modeling (CAD processes, basic knowledge of Catia 5 and data release systems);Knowledge of tooling lead time;Knowledge of main characteristics affecting target/performances.

Preferential requirementsSignificant experience in FEM simulation;Significant experience in Passive Safety Testing;Priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience;Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions;Ability to transfer methodology and know how in her/his own project team and to the rest of the department team;Ability to manage component and system suppliers;Problem solving and ability to synthesize information.

Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electronics, Materials Engineering or equivalentLanguage skills:
Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
