Baker Hughes is seeking a Mechanical Technical Trainer The Knowledge Services (KS) business unit operates within IET Gas Technology Services Division of Baker Hughes and incorporates the capabilities and portfolio of Customer Training, Digital Services, Advanced Engineering and Advisory Services to create a new commercial offering and portfolio.

Within the new Outcome Based Services (OBS) commercial model, KS has the aim to use BH OEM knowledge and digital capabilities to create new value proposition to our customers, supporting them in the achievement of specific KPIs such as efficiency, productivity and emissions reduction and creating commercial reward schemes directly linked to these

Partner with the best Reporting to the Knowledge Services Delivery Leader, the Mechanical Technical Trainer will contribute to the design, preparation and delivery of training courses aimed to Baker Hughes Customers' personnel.

The courses which will fall under the responsibility of the Mechanical Technical Trainer will be mechanical training, with focus on aeroderivative and heavy-duty gas turbines, centrifugal compressors.

The trainer would eventually be asked to then expand responsibility beyond the named asset and support also on steam turbines and other BH products.


The Mechanical Technical Trainer will also support Customer Training (CT) product innovation and sustain our business growth and market penetration.

The development of talents is a key pillar for the Knowledge Services strategy and the market condition with a new workers' generations stepping in, creates new opportunities and requirements in terms of learning solutions.

Contributing to improve the learning design and innovate the CT solutions will be part of the priorities for this role.


As a Mechanical Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for:
Providing project specific trainings for aeroderivative and heavy-duty gas turbines and/or centrifugal compressors to customers worldwide.

Training and giving understanding to the customer ensuring they receive theoretical and operational knowledge of their machines, the involved systems, and components.

Compiling the project specific training manual by going through engineering product and operational data before the training.
Cooperating with project managers to clarify and fine-tune training schedules as well as project specific training contents.
