Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer works in an aviation industry for the manufacture of aircraft transparency parts, monitoring, testing and reporting on the quality of products.

We're looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to test our aircraft transparency parts and procedures and ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with various inspection techniques and be able to act as an auditor for all of our internal systems, identifying issues and recommending solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

testing systems and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards and creating quality and safety documentationidentifying technical issues and getting to the root of the problemproactively recommending solutions that'll improve product durability and overall performancemonitoring the quality performances of the Suppliers, auditing the Suppliers with reference to EASA Part-21 Subpart G (POA), EN9100, ISO 9001 requirementsdetermining quality metrics for all manufacturing proceduresmonitoring the entire production cycle and reporting on malfunctionsset detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards areperform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possibleinspect product materials and systems for defects and durabilityidentify the root of technical issues and recommend fixesprepare reports on defects, malfunctions, product non-conformities and corrective actions (e.g.

number of defective raw materials per order)manage the product non-conformitiesupdate our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, product non-conformities, fixes and improvementsreview current blueprints and quality documentationset and track quality assurance goalscoordinate with Quality Assurance function to ensure legal compliancework with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the productsQualifications:previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar rolegraduation in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant fieldadditional certification as Quality Auditorhands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologiesin-depth understanding of aeronautical technical documentationfamiliarity with statistical analysisFluent in English and Italiangreat attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesteam spiritgood analytical skills
