COMPANY PROFILE:

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Financial Controller will provide support,
    manage and coordinate mainly
    the Europe Tractor Engineering Sites Financials
  • The Product Development EU Site control team
    scope includes
-
R&D spending progression by project and coordination of monthly accruals for the Sites in scope and in support of the Platform controllers.
-
R&D capitalization/amortization progression per milestone calendar and in line with IA38, coordination of monthly accruals and capitalization burden entries.
-
Engineering test inventory and Non-Product (Code 13)
capital investments progression, coordination of monthly accruals and depreciation entries.

  • The Product Development Site Control team
    coordinates the annual physical inventory verification of the Engineering Test unit in cooperation with the Platform controllers on the respective inventory.

Support business with systems, transaction and reporting pertaining to goods & services procurement (SAP/ProMIS/Concur).
-
Support tax department/Grant Department** in the collection of information required for R&D tax credits.

  • Continuously drive process improvements to improve value to business partners.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • R&D spending progression by project and support of monthly accruals, to make sure all costs are reporting in the correct category, period and nature, which includes:
  • verification/analyzing of the spending by WBS and related corrections
  • Labor costs verification with ProMIS interface and controlling adjustment on demand
  • Burden calculation and postings
  • Capitalization input for IAS38 and Reporting
  • Reconciliation of Submission of actuals in ProMIS, eNERgy, Ovh System
  • Flash reporting by GPL for actuals
  • ProMIS financial data load/support for non
  • SAP locations
  • Capitalization input for IAS38 and Reporting
for Europe CE Italian Sites in conjunction with the AG Modena Site

  • Setup, review opening of WBS codes for new Programs/projects for R&D spending in conjunction of the Platform controller & Semplice coordinator
  • Review Site indirect Spending (actual/budget/Forecast) for the different Tractor Sites
  • Support on Test inventory to Product Validation, platform incl. annuals Inventory verification
  • Support on Non-Product investment CARs submitted by the various PD organizations
  • Occasionally support on Audit support, Project followup for Platform controllers
  • Support to Engineering Business on SAP related issues for indirect Purchasing, Spending Filter, SAP issues, payment followsups, Training on SAP system
  • Occasional Support and document Subsidy Files with Financial Data
  • Continuous review & improving of business + controlling processes

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degrees in accounting or economics, with preferably 5year relevant working experience in management accounting, finance and/or business control.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory and in Italian & French is a plus.
  • Expert PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and complex problemsolving ability
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Indirect Purchases, Investment Management and Project Spending is a plus
  • Occasional international travel will be required.

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Knowledge of managerial accounting, policies rules and flows.
  • Able to produce structured reports for the communication of complex financial issues
