Global Material Planning CoE Manager

Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Designing material planning processes globally, performance indicators and organizational structures of material planning teams for continuous enhancement;
- Assisting CoE Director in outlining the operational model for material planning capabilities, such as target structure, role descriptions and resource allocation;
- Establishing the necessary skills framework for the material planning community, conducting regular skill evaluations and creating training programs in collaboration with Talent Development/ Campari University;
- Developing a checklist for process maturity assessment and conducting evaluations in different Regions periodically, identifying deviations from standard processes and proposing corrective measures;
- Setting process compliance KPIs, establishing goals with Regional units, monitoring deviations from targets, and supporting Regional CoEs and teams;
- Collaborating with regional teams to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness in material planning and MRP;
- Serving as the main contact for Material Planning in global transformative undertakings spearheaded by other departments, underlining integration points with planning and aiding in designing end-to-end processes;
- Defining the Material planning roadmap in conjunction with CoE Director, Regional Leads, and IT Business Partner;
- Following up on significant global planning systems issues with the IT Business Partner;
- Teaming up with Manufacturing and Procurement leads to address integration and continuous improvement aspects;
- Collaborating with the CoE Reporting to develop a new reporting structure that visually enhances decision-making.
Education and Experience Required
- Master's Degree in a scientific area (Engineering, Economics, Business Administration)
- Proven experience in influencing and instigating change in a multinational setup
- Prior experience in process enhancement and optimization
Soft and Technical Skills
- Superior communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in project management
- Assertiveness
- Robust change management skills
- Effective facilitation skills, adept at grasping the requirements of all functions and translating them into needs
- Analytical mindset
- Extensive knowledge of planning tools (proficiency in SAP IBP is advantageous)
- Fluency in English, knowledge of Italian is beneficial
