Involved in the
Supply Chain department of the site and within the scope assigned by the Sourcing Coordinator, our
Sourcing Specialist ensures the
development and management of the appropriate supplier base to ensure business expectations are met in terms of total cost of ownership and supply service.


  • Responsibilities_
-
Identify and select suppliers of materials and services,
develop the supplier base localization process, and supports the divisional function in scouting new suppliers and products in the market of competence.
-
Negotiate contractual terms and directly manage suppliers, to meet current and future business expectations. Ensure that the plant needs are fully met in terms of price, service level and quality (lowest TCO).

  • Support the Sourcing Coordinator in the execution of the
    yearly saving plan of the site and bring to completion the
    Cost Improvement Initiatives assigned.
  • Maintain **short
- and long-term plans
for the assigned categories of purchasing.**:

  • Maintain and
    update ERP system with agreed information and data
  • Requirements:_
-
Fluency in English is a prerequisite:


  • University Degree preferably in Engineering or Economics

1/3 years of experience as specialist (commodity, sourcing) within the Sourcing/Procurement department of an industrial manufacturing and / or processing global environment.

  • Experience in
    Supply Chain, preferably in the FMCG environment

IT ERP/MRP/WMS systems (SAP as preferable requirement)

Analytical skills (including data collection, analysis and review; etc)
