Venture Intern @vento

Vento is the Italian chapter of Exor Ventures, a VC fund investing in the best founders globally. Since 2018 Exor Ventures has backed over 75 startups globally with more than $500M.

In Vento, we are focused on two main activities: investments and venture building.

• Vento Investments: in the last year, we have invested in over 40 earlystage startups with exceptional Italian founders. We aim to reach 100 investments per year, with a standard ticket of € and founderfriendly terms.

As a Venture Intern at Vento, your main tasks and responsibility will be:

Scout the best early-stage deals. Your task will be to look out for the best startups with Italian founders by researching on LinkedIn, going to Demo Days, taking part in initiatives in the ecosystem, and so on.

Automatize as much as you can. We are a small team with big ambitions, our job is intense and we interact with hundreds of people weekly, that's why automatizing repetitive tasks is paramount. You'll be using Zapier, Notion, Tally, Affinity, AirTable, and any other tool necessary to make sure that we are minimizing any manual tasks.

Run operations to make everything work: organize the agenda, nurture our community of founders, give feedback to our startups, prepare materials for our workshops, find the best mentors, and close new partnerships for free or discounted tools.

Support in the organization of events such as Italian Tech Week and Exor Ventures Founders' Dinner.

Proficiency in English:
You can carry on crystal clear communications (both in written and oral form) with our international teammates, aren't you? (a minimum level of C1 is required)

Experience isn't a requirement.

While we certainly value relevant experience, we prefer to work with talented people who are ready to put themselves out there and can meet the challenges arising from the tasks they will face on the spot rather than someone with experience but no initiative or adaptability.
