Consulting Systems Engineer - FortiWeb, FortiProxy, FortiIsolator Objective:

As a member of the International Sales Department, you will work closely with the Sales Team to position our Portfolio of Solutions, educate and drive field Systems Engineers in their projects and report product evolution requests to Product Management.

Member of the CSE team covering the INTL region (EMEA and APAC) Second level of pre-sales support assisting the SE organization:

in responding to RFPs/RFIs:
design, solution specification, product information in supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success in leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value in conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations and POCs Responsible to build technical material to support sales activities (slideware, solution brief, white papers, success stories, etc.)
and design workshops Effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel Point of contact for the Product Management team:

responsible to report and consolidate customer needs across INTL, validate business case, write and prioritize feature requests Report project activities, analyze project trends and provide market vision Participate in the development of commercial strategies Participate in seminars Travel as required inINTL region (EMEA and infrequent travel to APAC) Being able to self-start and understand the addressable market for your designated technologies Work closely with Product Managers and peer CSEs to provide your input on product direction and strategy

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry.

Technical pre-sales experience (8 years) Vendor experience in similar fields International experience in a global organization Strong understanding of Web Technology & Security, Network Security, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching Expertise level in at least two of the following areas:

Secure Web Gateway:
Hypertext Transfer Protocols (RFC7235), Proxy Chaining, Authentication (Kerberos, NTLM, SAML, LDAP, Form, Basic), Web/DNS filtering, PKI, WAN optimization Remote Browser Isolation:
WebSocket, Zero Trust, CDR, Certificate Authority

Web Application Firewall:


OWASP TOP10, WAFEC, Negative and Positive Security model, Signature and Machine Learning based protection, HTTP/2, TLS 1.3, API security (JSON, XML, SOAP), Web vulnerability scanning, DoS protection.

Architectural and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure) Strong presentation skills to executives & individual contributors Excellent written and verbal communication skills A self-motivated, independent thinker Fortinet NSE 7 or other equivalent certification is a plus
