Technician in Modena

This position will consist of joining the team located in EMEA in supporting new and existing vehicle platform data collection.

The technician will work with our customer system and subsystem teams to support data collection strategies and hardware connection implementations.

Your job:

• Support the customer technicians on APTIV device installations.
• In vehicle root causing and troubleshooting CAN, CAN FD and ethernet issues.
• Inventory management.
• Support the APTIV team in gathering the requirements of new vehicle platforms.
• Hardware troubleshooting for all APTIV equipment.
• Support the customer technicians in rework the existing harnesses according with the needs.

Your background:

• Knowledge of OE & aftermarket engine, OBD, transmission or vehicle systems

- calibration, validation, and development.

• Knowledge or experience in working for Commercial Vehicle or Passenger Car

- companies

• Strong written and oral communication skills. This role interacts with both external customers and internal management.
• Ability to see the "big picture" and understand how individual tasks interconnect and impact other parts of the testing process.
