We are seeking a Sr Accountant with at least 7 years of experience to join our team

Activities & Main Responsibilities

Ledger Management:

  • Oversee and manage the complete ledger cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Responsibility for meeting established month end close deadlines for preparing journal entries across multiple entities.
  • Leading the resolution of issues on all assigned accounts and reconciliations to ensure proper and accurate reporting.
  • Perform regular reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting controls, procedures and policies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to the CEO.
  • Preparing of consolidated reports for the business.
  • Generate various financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Skills and Competencies

  • Bilingual or fullproficiency of both English and Italian.
  • Capable of communicating across all levels within the organization
  • Good Knowledge of Ipsoa software and advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years in an accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
