Site Quality Manager

The role:

For our Manufacturing site in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) with over 700 employees, we are seeking a Site Quality Manager.

The Site Quality Manager guides the Quality department assuring respect of standards, improving products field reliability and increasing processes efficiency through Cost of Poor Quality reduction.

He has to lead people through team building and he has to show natural attitude to open and honest relationships.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Guide the quality team: attitude to relationship and in leading people through team building.
  • Customers' top offenders issues management through MBF methodology
  • Site quality KBM and KPI management.
  • Quality interface on OEM projects/activities
  • Site DPD top offenders monitoring & followup
  • Managing of high impact suppliers' issues
  • Main Operations (eg. Localization) & Sourcing projects reference
  • ISO 9001 Site Quality Representative
  • Managing of corrective actions and quality issues with suppliers and other Xylem sites.
  • Drive the change: role is devoted to process improvement and to support the change activities.
  • Monitor supplier transition phases with logistic, R&D and procurement departments.
  • Availability to travel and visit Xylem plants and supplier all over the world.
  • Effectively manage the internal customers relationship
  • Lead Quality inputs for the Integrated Management System

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field preferrable
  • University degree in engineering (mechanical, electrics or industrial) preferrable
  • Good communication skill in written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Fluent in Italian
  • At least
    2 years experience as a Site Quality Manager in a multinational environment
