Based at our Minerbio (Bologna) production site, the Maintenance Planner/Buyer will improve workforce productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.

In this role, you will be part of the maintenance team and will report to the Maintenance Manager. You will also coordinate the acquisition of spare parts/performances provided by external suppliers.

Contractor Manager

Manage contracts with suppliers: update them and carry out research to find new synergies on the market, increasing competition between companies on the vendor list, Prepare purchasing orders and engage with suppliers to achieve maintenance work within given deadline, ensuring spare parts material availability, Estimate labor hours needed to perform work for planned work.

Procurement

Create purchase requisitions for planned work to include services and materials, Review with Maintenance Coordinator the quantities of non critical spare parts required to be purchased, in order to meet every production plan needs, ensuring the purchase of critical spare parts, considering the minimum quantity defined, Provide cost estimates for planned work, including labor, materials, and contract services.

Planning & Scheduling

Plan shutdown-related work, Assign proper coding during work identification, control, and planning phases, Handle long- and short-range planning for preparation of work orders, Determine the actual sequence of work activities for planned work, Extract the monthly planned maintenance information present in the CMMS system, contact suppliers and organize field activities, Communicate Work Planning Information to Maintenance Supervisor, Check the deadlines for scheduled maintenance, Check that all preventive maintenance is carried out during the month/year,

Safety

Ensure that safety is considered when developing every job plan. Identify permits and provide HSE office with technical information in the DUVRI documentation, Ensure that all the safety documentations (. Permits to Work) are ready before the start of activities of external suppliers, Several years of similar maintenance/buyer experience, Excellent communication skills and team player, Italian/English, Computerized Maintenance Management System/Software (SAP-PM; Maintenance Connection, Infor eAM or others) Preventive & Predictive Maintenance reporting Hydraulic and Electrical schematics
