We are looking for an intern who supports our Research & Development, Footwear Division for at least 6 months.

Tasks and responsibilities

Support Materials Advanced Research activities
Support the development of Salewa & Dynafit Footwear collections in the final definition phase
Help to update and maintain material database including cost reference
Help to actively identify new materials and colors to achieve the quality of the developed products in line with the required quality standard & certifications
Assist in maintain contacts with raw material suppliers, support in negotiating with them in order to meet development timelines and guide technical discussions
Relate with CSR department for material development
Support technical data sheet graphic realization

Profile

Studies in Materials, Design, Product Technology or in a similar field
Knowledge of fabrics
Knowledge of the product is a plus (especially from a technical, protective or outdoor point of view)
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Very good Italian and English skills
Teamwork orientation and good communication skills
Proactive approach
Passion for materials and fabrics
