Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children aged between 2-8 in a fun, non- or semi-competitive and creative way.

Hours:

The Coaching Coordinator will work an anticipated 20 hours per weekThis will consist of coaching and leading the PT coaching staff The standard work week will be Monday to Friday during select times of 8am - 5pm.

Some Saturdays maybe required for coaching cover Compensation Description:

Salary:

Job Description:
The Coaching Coordinator serves the team by carrying out the following responsibilities:Responsibility 1Coaching/

Coaching Evaluations:
Coaches 15-20 sessions per week during seasons– meets all requirements in the coaching job descriptionTrains and evaluates new coaches—providing specific feedback to ensure the coach is trained to manage sessions independentlyLeads demos and parent tables at existing and new schoolsCo-leads the coach's corner at weekly staff meetings (Zoom/Teams call)

Preform season evaluations for all territory coaches, and provide each with feedbackEvaluate new coaches provide LT with feedback (grade for each prospective coach)Introduce coaches at new schools to start each seasonResponsibility 2Administrative:
Assist the Executive Director with other administrative responsibilities as neededAttend all weekly L10 meetingsCoordinate new coaches visits with recruiterDistribute all prizes and certificates to coaches as well as any equipment throughout seasonsResponsibility 3Marketing and Communications: Help schedule all demos for new and existing schoolsRun or assist in the running of all demos at schoolsAssist with communication to coaches regarding program updates via email, text (GroupMe)


Provides updates to leadership team at weekly Level 10 meeting (how coaches are doing)Assist with other marketing and communication responsibilities as neededDaily Communications with coaches scheduled for that dayMinimum Requirements (similar alternate experience accepted) 1+ year coaching experience1+ year experience working with children (e.g.

daycare, preschool teacher, elementary school staff, etc.)
High school diplomaDriver's licenseComfortable with public speaking and leading meetingsStrong organization, communication and management skillsKey Performance Measures (KPM):

Demonstrates the "Soccer Shots Way" in behavior, conduct, dress, and coaching as to set the example for the rest of the coaching staffCompletes weekly scorecard items and quarterly rocksContributes weekly to Level 10 leadership meetings and arrives prepared to share updates on scorecard and rocks and on coaching of new and existing team membersReviews curriculum and preps coachesWhen not coaching, is present in the office to provide support when neededChecks emails and messages regularly and responds within 24 hours (emails) and 2 hours (texts) – during normal business hoursReviews: 90-Day Performance ReviewAnnual Performance Review, to be conducted in December of every calendar yearClosing: If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of young children, we can't wait to talk to you
