Fratelli is looking for a motivated student / newly graduate for a 6 months internship opportunity within the Global Nutrition & Wellbeing team in our headquarter in Parma (Italy).


The Global Nutrition & Wellbeing team focuses on the design of the Nutrition & Wellbeing Strategy and Guidelines, bringing principles and science-based evidence.

The team also designs and manages the Nutrition & Wellbeing Research Program and leads Barilla's Health & Wellbeing Advisory Board to align and deliver Barilla's strategic objectives.

Brief Description

The internship is focused on the development of a Nutrition platform and/or program to engage internal Barilla employees with the aim to embed in the Company a culture that values the nutrition and wellbeing science.

The objective is to create and spread science-based and nutrition content and messages.

The intern collaborates with N&W team, other RDQ units ( like Design Thinking) and other departments (Internal Communication, IT) plus external contacts (Universities).

Key Activities

  • Develop sciencebased content and messages starting from scientific papers and publication.
  • Fuel the Nutrition platform with consumerfriendly messages.
  • Engage employees in Nutrition information/education program/activities.
  • Truck the efficacy of the program with a set of science driven KPIs.
  • Map possible nutrition topics of interest, both internally and externally.
  • Review scientific literature on nutrition science.
  • Manage pilot test with a small group of employees.
  • Create infographics starting from scientific papers.
  • Create a nutrition dictionary for internal use.
  • Create Frequently Questions & Answers on Nutrition topics.
  • Scout external nutrition topics relevant for people and academia.

Who are we looking for?

  • 2nd year Master's students or newly graduates in Nutrition Science.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills, data intelligence and strong attention to details.
  • Proactivity and growth mindset.
  • Ability to search and critically review scientific papers on nutrition topics
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and database for literature search (e.g PubMed, Google Scholar)
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
