Finance & ControllingOverview:About the role The primary purpose of the position is to act as a Business Partner to the Local Sales and Commercial Team as well as Regional Business & Finance Teams, with regards to supporting profitable sales growth.

This role is a key part of the financial support of the Local Consumer business and will have contact with a wide variety of people at local country level, Shared Service Centre and European HQ.About the Team/DepartmentThe candidate will report to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis Sales
  • Southern GroupResponsibilities: Financial and Business Support for Greek team:Act as a Finance Business Partner to the Commercial Team, supporting business in managing portfolio mix and evaluating all local initiatives with customers and consumersJoint Business Plans and Customer Thought Leadership support – Partner with Sales team to develop strong business plans that deliver against SCJ objectives of profitable growth, maximizing Net Pricing and ensuring conditionalityOptimize Trade Spending and Customer Mix – Analyse trade spending plans with Sales team to maximize Net Pricing and reduce Gross to NetSupport marketing and commercial functions during new product launches and support pricing strategy / promo equity allocationPlay an active role in the monthly S&OP cycle via sound analysis and driving forecast accuracyAnalyse and Optimize Promotional spend behind priorities and improved ROI, working with Customer Marketing and the Sales TeamsPerform, analyse and understand monthly results and ensure business partners are regularly updated on performance and full year forecastsSupport completion of the annual budget, as well as forecast and re estimateCoordinate monthly S&OP financial process with key stakeholders and translate forecast into accurate financials, developing contingencies plans and evaluate business opportunities with cluster & local business partnersDrive simplification initiatives and best practices in coordination with rest of Cluster Finance teamSupport the organization in the phase in/phase out of new products, minimizing obsolescence and providing alternative plans to accelerate stock depletionEnsure processes and controls are fit for purpose in the sales control environmentImprove A/R
  • Work with the SSC A/R team, Credit & Collections Analyst and the local Sales Teams to minimize Accounts Receivables and facilitate timely resolution of open deductions and outstanding invoicesSecure compliance with SOAR / GIA policies and accounting principlesRespond to ad hoc queriesExperience you'll bring: Graduate level in business/finance or equivalentCommercial Controlling Experience, incl.
Budgeting, PxP, PxCUSGAAP exposureSolid accountancy understanding and experienceProject Management ExperienceFluent in English and ideally Italian2 /3 years of experienceBehaviors you'll need:
