Reporting to the Head of Legal and Tax, Atlas Copco Italia S.r.l.

seeks a Corporate Counsel generalist for its industrial equipment businesses throughout Italy to provide legal support and guidance related to commercial contracts, NDAs, cross-border transactions, distributor relations, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, privacy, D.Lgs.

231/2001, product liability, real estate and warranty matters.

Main Responsibilities

  • Advise business leaders and provide sound legal counsel on a variety of legal, compliance and commercial issues.
  • Draft, review, revise and negotiate terms and conditions on a broad range of commercial documents and contracts/agreements (e.g. sale, service, supply, purchase, distribution, lease, warranty, indemnification), ensuring that the
writings appropriately address business and legal needs.- Manage Legal compliance tasks regarding corporate governance, privacy and D.Lgs. 231/2001 for all Italian entities of Atlas Copco Group.

  • Work cooperatively and establish strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and operating unit leaders.
  • Manage the activities of outside counsel, ensuring the delivery of quality service at a cost that is reasonable and appropriate.
  • Provide assistance on, and from timetotime lead, in assigned projects affecting Atlas Copco Italia as well as other Atlas Copco Group companies located in Italy.

Education and Experience requirements

  • University degree in Law
  • Admitted to practice law in Italy
  • 23 years of progressive experience in a recognized law firm or corporate law department
  • Experience in commercial contract matters, corporate governance and legal compliance
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent command of English
