All about the role
In the food delivery business it is all about planning and forecasting.

With an accurate demand forecast the right number of people can be hired, enough bikes and bags can be ordered and of course a solid work planning of our couriers can be made.

The Business Planner plays a crucial role in the whole national performance process.

Working together with the Local and Global Managers, the local planning team, recruitment and the global forecasting team, the Business Planner is a spider in the web.


Your daily work includes:

  • Responsible for the tactical (long term) planning of the order delivery and courier demand in Italy
  • Analysing KPIs as well as tracking the daily/weekly and monthly business and adjusting accordingly
  • Preparing monthly forecasts, demand planning per both city and national level
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders in the organisation both local and international
  • Offering advice on a strategic level to local and international managerial level stakeholders
  • Perform strategic analysis to improve country performance

  • 23 years of consultancy, forecasting & planning experienced in, highpaced global/local environment
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics
  • Advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and numerical reasoning
  • Organisational understanding: Ability to connect data with real live business
  • Fluency in English
