Within the Supply Chain function, the Energy Purchase division manages an energy portfolio of 300 million euros distributed over 16 industrial sites and 10 countries (Europe, Asia, North and South America).

Active in the natural gas, electricity, CO2, biomass and coal markets, this team is also responsible for optimizing more than 300 MW of power generation capacity across the Group.

The work will take place at the Roquette Italia SpA plant in Cassano spinola (AL) under the direction of the Industrial Purchasing Manager.

Your mission will be carried out within the local supply chain on the basis of the information provided by the Category Manager of the group that defines the Italian portfolio on the purchase of natural gas, electricity, biomass and associated services (capacity guarantee, CEE, GO).

The mission is to minimize all costs on this portfolio (supply, transmission,...) and ensure the optimization of the management of energy plants (including 70 MW of cogeneration).

To do this, you will work closely with the production teams to define needs and flexibilities.

In addition, you will participate in the representation of Roquette with the authorities and professional associations regarding the defense of our energy interests in Italy.

Mainly focused on Italy, the mission includes:

• Execution and commercial management of our supply contracts and any other contract necessary for the best conditions (balancing, transport, connection),
• Carry out daily routine procedures with network operators,
• Manage the optimization on the markets of our cogeneration (spark spread, adjustment market),
• Ensure economic and regulatory monitoring for Roquette on this portfolio,
• Develop the various tools for monitoring volumes, costs and associated services and check all invoices,
• Develop and guarantee operational, financial and accounting reports,
• With the knowledge of industrial processes, develop an internal network with the operating units for the enhancement of operations with a view to improving management and improving efficiency,
• Ensure the representation of Roquette's energy interests with the authorities and professional associations,
• To manage, in full collaboration with the utility production team, the contracts linked to the generation plants in line with the energy and sustainability strategies
