Costing Officer

Your responsibilities are:

You will be active in following domains:
Product costing
- ensure all new requests for quotations are logged and tracked correctly;
- liaise with Pricing to clarify new requests for quotations;
- ensure all new requests for quotations are costed to sites/lines with available capacity;
- co-operate with Site(s), Product Development, Logistics,... to obtain new costing rates;
- calculate and provide product cost information for new quote requests for Pricing;
- challenge the product cost and assumptions in order to achieve the target cost;
- in conjunction with the site, propose cheapest alternatives.

Standard costing
- co-operate with Supply Chain to clarify new SAP product information as required;
- create, check, mark and release new SAP standard costs for Supply Chain;
- compare and report new SAP standard costs vs. new requests for quotations.

Other finance tasks, such as assisting with budget and forecasts, providing ad-hoc analysis, supporting the Pricing Team, supporting with financial analysis for Plant Finance Business Partner

Your profile:
Education and experience
- bachelor or master degree in business management (fe. Accountancy, Commercial Sciences).
- preferably similar relevant experience or experience in controlling.

Technical competences
- languages: good knowledge of Italian and English

• PCskills: good knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
