Rail- Chief Track Expert - India Based Project Key Responsibilities (not limited to) Lead the track work team to perform review and supplement DPR/DBR, design standards in respect of track work, alignment, track design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of track work duly considering the track standards. Also ensure proper interface of Civil structures with track works. Evaluate track structures to be adopted for the project. Review, finalization and approval of track alignment. Review/ preparation of outline design, preliminary design, tender design, prequalification criteria and bid documents for the tender packages for trackwork contracts, attend pre bid meetings and assist in tendering and evaluation process. Review and approval of outline design of depot sheds, stabling sheds from the point of track requirements. Review, Value addition and approval of the design of ballastless track of all types, noise and vibration mitigation measures, arrangement required for fixing of S & T equipment, technical proposals including track curvatures, turnouts, gradient, crossovers, fittings, buffer stops and destressing plans etc. Project Management of Trackwork installation, testing, safety, handle day-to-day technical matters, contract management, attend meetings, submit reports, supervise and assist NCRTC in obtaining approvals and certifications. Review of track installations procedures and method statements of ballastless and ballasted tracks. Review and compile of installation & maintenance manual of various track components and structures. Maintenance of ballastless/ballasted track. Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Employer.
