Renowned for game changing innovation and superior performance, at ghd we are on a mission to transform lives with the power of a good hair day ROLE OVERVIEW The HR Assistant supports the day-to-day activities of the HR department, ensuring smooth processes, clear communication and a positive and inclusive working environment. They collaborate with the HR Business Partner, the sales team and corporate functions to ensure effective operational support in line with ghd values. JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES HR Operations & Administration Management of employee documentation (hiring, extensions, terminations) in accordance with policies and regulations. Preparation of contracts and official letters. Updating HR systems and monitoring attendance, holidays and leave. Support for payroll processes through the control and submission of monthly reports. Supporting the control of employee expense reimbursements Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Publishing job advertisements and screening CVs in line with the brand identity. Coordinating interviews and managing timely contact with candidates. Supporting the onboarding of new talent to ensure a premium employee experience from day one. Support for the preparation of the induction agenda. Learning & Development Support in organising internal and external training programmes. Coordination with partners and suppliers to ensure quality and consistency with ghd standards. Employee Experience & Engagement Active contribution to HR initiatives related to well-being, internal communication and corporate events. Daily point of reference for employees and managers on operational HR issues. Support in implementing HR policies and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 2/5 years of experience in human resources Passion for people and strong service orientation. Excellent organisational skills, precision and attention to detail. Collaborative and proactive attitude. Knowledge of key HR processes. Ability to work in an international and dynamic environment. Excellent command of key digital tools.
