NextChem is the Maire’s company dedicated to Sustainable Technology Solutions. Thanks to the extensive know-how of nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers, we offer innovative solutions and processes to fully enable the energy transition. Within the Control Department, he/she is in charge of generating analysis, documents and deliverables assigned to him/her, guaranteeing quality, responsiveness and punctuality. He/she is also in charge of supporting the Manager in the coordination of the Group's management. The Controller reports to the Department Manager for timing, priorities of activities and quality of the deliverables. Key Activities & Responsibilities: The Controller performs Planning, Budget and Reporting and Analytical Accounting activities of the Company, under the supervision of the Responsible, he/she coordinates activities that ensure linkage, consistency and homogeneity of results and the impact on the financial statements of the Company and the Group. Following the guidelines provided by the Responsible, the Controller has the following main responsibilities Participate in the preparation of the elaboration of the Company’s and Group's Budgets, Operational Plans, in accordance with the established objectives and based on the forecasts provided by the Company and Group Management and periodic reporting, supporting any requests from the Holding/Parent Company, with an effective involvement in short-term planning processes (by way of example but not limited to: preparation of the calendar of activities, taking care to monitor the schedules of the various Group companies in order to ensure their completion according to the established timelines). Carry out simulations of the economic and financial impact of the development of executive projects and new acquisitions. Prepare and analyze the results by Company/Business Line to allow a correct evaluation of the economic and financial trends, for sharing and validation by the Responsible. Prepare and analyze the Company and Group Order Portfolio by Company/Business Line according to the acquisitions of the period and the production revenues, for sharing and validation by the Responsible Support the determination of the work in progress of the Orders, for the preparation of the Income Statement and the Balance Sheet for the period and at the end of the year. Guarantee the correct interface with the Subsidiaries for the management of information that goes to compose the Group's consolidated financial statements. Support the configuration of the Managerial Accounting into ERP Accounting System Analyze and interpret the deviations of the actual data with respect to the business objectives planned at the level of the Consolidated Project. Participate in the implementation processes of the relevant tools. Update the master data of the consolidation, Cost Centers and orders, as well as participate in the initialization of the Management Control systems. Support in the preparation and updating of internal procedures relating to management processes. Personal Attributes: 2/3 years min of experience, preferably in the same role – Budget, Planning & Control Depts, preferably in Projects driven Companies Economy degree fluent in English ERP application knowledge: SAP (preferably) Proficiency in Excel and Reporting Tools Team worker and effective communicator Availability to travel for short period in Italy and abroad Adaptability, entrepreneurship and working with method Place of work: Rome
